VOLUNTEER

You do not have to be a member to volunteer. Connect with our principal or any PTA member to share your availability. We also take event sign-ups via Sign Up Genius. Below are some of our parents volunteering at an ice cream social event on campus.

The 1st Friday of every month, we partner with a local business, we shop, and they donate a percentage of the proceeds which benefits our school. It’s a win win for all of us!

John J. Montgomery Elementary School is a public school serving students from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade in the Evergreen School District of San Jose, California (Source: school website).

John Joseph Montgomery (Feb. 15, 1858 – Oct. 31, 1911), who the school was named after, was an American inventor and professor at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara CA, who is best known for his invention of controlled heavier-than-air flying machines (Source: wikipedia).
